		Modern art was officially born in Paris in 1874 when some young painters defied the established salons to put together their own exhibition. The group included Cezanne, Degas, Monet, Morisot, Pissarro, Renoir and Sisley. This TL provides photographs more than half in color, of the work of these artists, of those who had influenced them and their effect on those who followed called, not unexpectedly, Post Impressionists
